Suspect wanted for robbery at Subway restaurant: NYPD

BROADWAY-FLUSHING — Police were looking for a man who robbed a Subway restaurant in Broadway-Flushing mid-May.

The man, armed with a firearm, walked into the restaurant at 25-52 Francis Lewis Blvd. May 12 at about 7:45 p.m. and demanded money, according to the police.

The clerk complied and the man left the store with an undetermined amount of money, police said. There were no reported injuries.

Officials described the suspect as a white male in his early 40s, 5-foot-8 tall and weighing 185 pounds.

The investigation was ongoing, according to a police spokesman.
