Sixth-graders at St. Pancras School in Glendale recently received a visit from a New York City Parks ranger who provided a lesson on ichthyology, the study of fish. Students learned about fish anatomy, aquatic ecology and proper angling techniques in preparation for a fishing trip with city park rangers planned for this spring.
