Food Cellar, a high-end grocery store that opened its first location in 2008, is finally opening its second store after more than a year of setbacks.

The Courier first reported the additional Court Square location in 2013, but construction and electricity delays made it difficult for the owners to meet their initial time frame. Food Cellar signed a 15-year lease in 2013 at the Rockrose development Link LIC. The 709-unit luxury rental building opened in 2013 at 43-10 Crescent St.

Co-owner Metin Mangut said he is “99 percent sure” that the store will open on Thursday, barring any setbacks. The dearth of supermarkets in Long Island City make Food Cellar an attractive option for residents with its all-natural and organic offerings. The market also sells prepared foods and includes an eat-in cafe. The new market will be housed in a 24,000-square-foot space.

The flagship site is located at 4-85 47th Rd. According to its website, the market is also looking for team members in a variety of departments including the bakery, grocery and deli sections and cashiers.
