Pair sought for painful New Year’s robbery in Woodside

A man and woman decided to ring in the new year by robbing a man in Woodside, police said.

Authorities are searching for two suspects who, at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Jan 1., robbed a man in front of a location on 65th Street near 37th Road in Woodside. The pair placed the victim in a chokehold and proceeded to steal the victim’s Galaxy cellphone and an unknown amount of cash.

Police, who on Thursday released a video of the suspects, described the perpetrators as a black male with dreadlocks and a female with dark skin.
