Flushing deli targeted twice in one month by lottery-loving thief

Police are looking for a brazen burglar who climbed into the same Flushing deli twice in one month to steal scratch-off lottery tickets and hundreds of dollars in cash.

According to authorities, the man first gained entry into the T&F Convenience store on Northern Boulevard by pushing in an air conditioner mounted in the back of the establishment on Dec. 12 at 10 p.m. Once inside, he removed $760 dollars and some scratch-off lottery tickets before fleeing.

The suspect targeted the store again on Dec. 29 at 9:30 p.m. He was able to use the same method as before to break in for the second time, and this time he was able to steal $420 and several scratch-off lottery tickets before fleeing.

A surveillance image of the suspect was captured at the nearby Main Street subway station. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
