Greenbay Market will open a new location on 30th Avenue in a former Rite Aid, the store has confirmed.
Owner Hasan Clik said, “It will be a similar concept as the marketplace on Broadway.”
However, he said it was too early to offer further details about the store – which will be located at 31-10 30th Ave. – including what items it will offer. Clik was also unable to specify when the new store will open, noting that construction began very recently.
A construction worker on site Monday estimated that work would take about four months.
Greenbay Organic Marketplace is located at 32-06 Broadway and offers groceries and organic products.
Last year, the company expanded across the street with Greenbay Essentials at 32-19 Broadway, which offers vitamins, supplements and body and beauty products as well as a juice bar.
