The popular LIC Flea & Food market is set to return to the Long Island City waterfront for its fourth season with more than 80 vintage, artisan and food vendors this April, for what will be the largest market of its kind in Queens.

Always a Queens pioneer, LIC Flea & Food will again host the All-Queens Beer Garden, the first destination to serve a full lineup of beers from Queens-based breweries with eight beers on tap.

From April 9 through October 30, LIC Flea & Food will operate every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the corner of Fifth Street and 46th Avenue, a location that offers breathtaking views of the midtown Manhattan skyline. It’s also within walking distance of the 7, N, Q, E, M and G trains, as well as the LIC East River Ferry stop and a parking garage on Fifth Street, making it easily accessible to people living throughout New York City.

Attendees of LIC Flea & Food can explore and discover a diverse range of antiques, vintage wares, collectibles, art, crafts, fashion and more, and enjoy food representing the ethnic diversity of Queens from a wide range of food makers, including Oconomi’s Japanese Vegetable Pancakes, Butcher Bar’s Wood Smoked BBQ, Jessy’s Empanadas and Noodle Code’s Guilin-style noodles. The market’s vintage offerings – significantly expanded from last year – will include such vendors as RI-PURPOSE, Maggiebeth Vintage and Halltown Homestead.

“Now in our fourth year, you can expect to find popular vendors from our past and unique new vendors you won’t be able to find anywhere else,” said Joshua Schneps of LIC Flea & Food. “With a wide range of unique products and specialty items, and incredible views of the Manhattan skyline, the vibrant experience offered by LIC Flea & Food will be unlike anything else, providing a fun destination for the entire family – New Yorkers and visitors alike.”

“I’m very excited that the LIC Flea & Food will return for its fourth year in our neighborhood,” Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer said. “Their fantastic events showcase the chefs and artisans of our borough and help make Long Island City the vibrant, thriving, culture-rich neighborhood that it is.”

“We are excited to welcome the LIC Flea & Food market back for another great season! It continues to be a huge asset for our neighborhood,” said Elizabeth Lusskin, president of the Long Island City Partnership. “The LIC Flea & Food is a really fun way to showcase the great variety of local merchants in one bustling outdoor market, not only for local residents, but also for the many visitors it draws into LIC to also enjoy our parks, museums and marvelous brick-and-mortar establishments as well.”

“LIC Flea & Food offers a world-class shopping and culinary experience in a vibrant, picturesque setting along the Long Island City waterfront,” said Queens Borough President Melinda Katz. “It is great to hear that LIC Flea & Food is coming back for its fourth amazing season. In its first three seasons, it has already proven to be a very attractive destination for tourists and Queens residents alike.”

“I’m happy to wish LIC Flea the best of luck in 2016,” said Queens Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Seth Bornstein. “The market has been a great place to buy delicious food and shop for high-quality clothes and artisan products for the past few years. Plus, I always enjoy some of the promotions, such as chess and kayaking. Congrats, LIC Flea, and let’s get started.”
