Queens crossing guard is directed to jail for assaulting her daughter, cops say

A school crossing guard assigned to the Ridgewood-based 104th Precinct was arrested Thursday for punching her daughter during a dispute, police announced.

Kathryn Paz, 48, was booked on third-degree assault and second-degree harassment charges for pushing and punching her 19-year-old daughter inside their apartment at 5:30 p.m. on April 14. Paz’s daughter sustained minor injuries including two small abrasions.

The NYPD did not disclose the address where the assault took place, but indicated it was within the confines of the 104th Precinct, which includes Ridgewood, Glendale, Maspeth and Middle Village.

Information about the school where Paz is assigned was also not available.
