Detectives continue to search for the suspects who shot a 55-year-old man during a robbery attempt in Woodside early on Sunday morning.

The shooting took place at 4:34 a.m. in front of a home on 61st Street near Broadway.

According to authorities, the victim and his girlfriend were walking along 61st Street when they were approached by the suspects, who were described as two Hispanic males and who demanded the man’s property.

Following the gunfire, the suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
