Two suspects wanted in shoplifting spree: Cops

By Mark Hallum

BAYSIDE — The NYPD is asking for assistance identifying two men wanted in connection with a two-incident grand larceny pattern within the confines of the 111th and the 107th Precincts.

The first incident was reported Oct. 29, when 36 pairs of men’s Polo underwear valued at $40 apiece were taken from a Macy’s located at 242-02 61st Ave. by an unknown man.

The second incident took place the same day as the first incident at a Modell’s Sporting Goods in Fresh Meadows, police said. The man seen shoplifting from Macy’s walked into the store with another man and took 11 New York Mets World Series Jerseys valued at a total of $1,375 without paying, police said.

Security footage caught images of the two suspects.
