A fire engine and a city bus collided just after noon in Astoria Sunday, injuring 19 people.
The 312 Fire Engine was racing to the scene of a blaze at 8-01 26th Ave. with its lights and sirens on, when it slammed into a Q100 bus between Ditmars Boulevard and 21st Street, according to the FDNY.
The victims, including five firefighters, were taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center and Mount Sinai Queens with non life-threatening injuries, according to the FDNY.
The MTA and the NYPD were investigating the crash.
