Alleged groping in Jackson Heights: police

JACKSON HEIGHTS—Police from the 115th Precinct were searching for a man suspected of allegedly forcibly touching a woman in Jackson Heights.

On Sept. 12 at 9:30 p.m. a man grabbed a woman’s buttocks while she was walking down Roosevelt Avenue and 89th Street, police said. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction, according to police.

Police are describing the suspect as a Hispanic male between 30 and 40 years old. Police say he is between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8, approximately 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a gray striped shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
