Cops are looking for a so-called tough guy who sucker punched a 68-year-old woman as she sat in her car and stole her belongings in Richmond Hill earlier this week.
According to police, the victim was inside her vehicle in front of a business on Jamaica Avenue near 104th Street at 2:20 a.m. on Oct. 19 when the the suspect approached.
Authorities said the perpetrator — described as a Hispanic male between 30 to 40 years of age, standing between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, weighing between 220 and 250 pounds and wearing gray jeans and a dark blue hooded sweatshirt — suddenly punched the woman in the face and grabbed from her a cellphone, a pocketbook containing $500 in cash and jewelry. He took off in an unknown direction.
Officers from the 102nd Precinct responded to the scene; the victim suffered minor facial injuries and refused medical attention.
