The award-winning Netflix comedy “Master of None,” starring Aziz Ansari, will be filming scenes for its upcoming second season inside of Maspeth‘s Goodfellas Diner on Tuesday, Oct. 18.

According to the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theater and Broadcasting, the shoot will take place inside the diner, located at 56-26 Maspeth Ave., from 6 to 11:30 a.m., with interior dialogue scenes to take place from 7 to 10:15 a.m. and an exterior establishing shot from 10:15 to 10:30 a.m.

Due to the filming, the east side Rust Street between 56th Terrace and Maspeth Avenue will be blocked off from residential parking for the entire length of the block.

While three-quarters of the west side of Rust Street between Maspeth and Grand avenues will be sectioned off.

Season two of “Master of None” is set to premiere on Netflix in April 2017. The show follows Dev — played by Ansari — and his friends as they try to maneuver through life and relationships in New York City.

“Master of None” joins films such as “Goodfellas,” “You Don’t Know Jack,” and more recently a remake of the 1979 comedy “Going in Style,” starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin, to be filmed at the famous diner.

Goodfellas Diner made some bad news last week after two individuals beat up the diner’s elderly owners as they left the eatery without paying for their breakfast.
