Police search for child missing from Queens Village home

Police were looking for information leading to the discovery of the whereabouts of a child who went missing from her home in Queens Village.

Samarea Infanta, 12, was last seen Monday around 7:30 a.m. in her residence at 219-07 Hempstead Ave., according to NYPD, and has not been seen since.

The girl is described by police as Hispanic with brown eyes and black curly hair. She stands about 5-foot-1 and weights approximately 120 pounds.

Infanta was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, an orange shirt and Timberland boots, police said.
