Cops search for unidentified robbery suspect in Forest Hills

Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a Forest Hills robbery.

Police were looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery which took place in Forest Hills Wednesday.

An unidentified individual with an undetermined sex, according to police, approached the 69-year-old female victim and pushed her to the ground before stealing her purse.

According to the NYPD, incident occurred at about 6 p.m. on 67th Road between Yellowstone Boulevard and 108th Street.

Inside the purse was an iPhone 6, credit cards, keys and an ID. The woman suffered injuries to her right arm and ribs, but refused medical attention, police said.

The suspect was described by police as a person about 25 years old and proximately 5-foot-5.
