KEW GARDEN HILLS — Three 17-year-old girls were injured Monday afternoon in a slashing incident at Queens North Community High School, police said. The incident happened at the 77th Road Kew Garden Hills school at 1:30 p.m., police said.

One 17-year-old girl sneaked razors into school and grabbed another girl by the hair and attacked her, the NYPD said. The victim sustained bruising and was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital. The attacking teen was taken to Queens General Hospital with lacerations to the hand and bruising.

A third 17-year old who got involved in the scuffle was injured as well and taken to Long Island Jewish Medical Center for minor injuries, police said.

The 17-year-old in possession of the razor was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and assault, police said. The second teen was arrested and charged with assault, authorities said.

Investigations were ongoing.
