Two armed bandits weren’t clowning around when they robbed a Maspeth hotel last week, according to police.

Law enforcement sources said the two male perpetrators walked into the Comfort Inn hotel lobby at 60-30 Maurice Ave. at 3:10 a.m. on Oct. 19 and confronted two employees.

Police said one of the suspects – who wore a white clown mask, a black jacket, gray jeans and white sneakers – displayed a firearm, while his accomplice wore a black hooded sweatshirt and a red bandana over his face while brandishing a knife.

The two thieves demanded cash from the hotel workers, who provided them with $300. The pair then fled the scene on foot along Maurice Avenue.

Officers from the 104th Precinct responded to a 911 call about the incident; no injuries were reported.

Captain John Mastronardi, the 104th Precinct’s commander, took to Twitter on Oct. 20 and posted a wanted flyer featuring an image of the mask-wearing suspect.
