The NYPD is looking for a woman who allegedly snatched a 2-year-old Shih Tzu dog in Corona last week.

The suspect entered a fenced front yard area of a home on 37th Avenue last Friday just after 8 a.m. and took the dog before fleeing east on 37th Avenue, police said.

The woman was captured by a surveillance camera smiling as she made her getaway holding the stolen dog in her arms. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, skinny jeans and dark Nike sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
