Bandana-wearing bandit swipes thousands in cash during a Woodside pizza shop stickup

Cops need your help in finding the money-hungry crook who held up a pizza joint in Woodside earlier this week.

Police said the stickup took place at 11:10 p.m. on Nov. 12 at the Pizza Hut located at 51-02 Northern Blvd., inside the Tower Square Shopping Center.

According to authorities, the perpetrator walked into the shop, displayed a firearm and demanded cash. The thief proceeded to remove $3,200 from a safe, then fled in an unknown direction.

Officers from the 108th Precinct responded to the incident; there were no injuries.

Police didn’t provide a formal description of the crook, but the individual was seen on camera wearing a black ski mask, a red bandana over the face and a blue-and-white jacket.
