Cops looking for pair who stole their victims’ phones out of their hands in two F train stations in Jamaica

Police are looking for a duo responsible for a series of recent cellphone snatchings at two Jamaica subway stations.

According to police, at 9:15 a.m. on Sept. 27, a 27-year-old man was standing inside of the Sutphin Boulevard F train station when an unknown man grabbed his cellphone and ran through the station. As the victim chased after the suspect who took his phone, a second unknown man ran up to him and punched him in the face.

One month later, at 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 30, a 23-year-old woman was standing in the Parsons Boulevard F train station when an unknown man stole her phone from her hand. After taking the phone, authorities said, the suspect fled the station.

Law enforcement sources said the third incident occurred at 2:05 p.m. on Nov. 2 at the Sutphin Boulevard station. A 20-year-old female was at the location when an unknown man stole her phone out of her hand and then fled the station.

The first suspect is described as a light-skinned male with glasses and a dark-colored backpack. He was last seen wearing a blue and white hooded sweater, black and white sweatpants and dark-colored sneakers. The second perpetrator is described as a light-skinned male with glasses and a multi-colored backpack. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, blue jeans and orange sneakers.
