Man sought for punching a 70-year-old man on the E train in Jamaica: cops

Police are looking for a man who punched a senior man in the face while riding the train at a Jamaica subway station.

On Dec. 16 at 7:05 a.m., a 70-year-old man was riding on a Manhattan-bound “E” train. When the train was stopped inside the Sutphin Boulevard subway station, an unknown man punched the victim in the face.

Authorities say that there is no known motive as to why the suspect punched the victim in the face and that they don’t appear to have any prior connection to each other. The assailant was scene jumping the turnstile as he fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 25- and 30-years-old, with and injury to his right eye and standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall.
