Two women rough up and rob a passenger after a run-in on a bus in Jamaica

Police are looking for two women who beat and robbed a woman who was riding the bus in Jamaica earlier this month.

At 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 9, the victim, a 32-year-old woman, was riding the Q110 bus when she got into a verbal dispute with two unknown women. The victim and one of the women had bumped into each other while riding the bus.

The argument escalated and the suspects punched the victim in the face and stole her iPhone 6 out of her hands.

The suspects got off the bus at 170th Street and Jamaica Avenue and fled on foot southbound on 170th Street. The victim was treated by EMS for pain at the scene.

Police described the suspects as black women between the ages of 28 and 31 years old. The first suspect stands between 5 feet, 5 inches and 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds; she was last seen wearing a black scarf and a dark-colored jacket.

Her cohort stands between 5 feet, 5 inches and 5 feet, 6 inches tall; weighs 165 pounds; and was last seen wearing a beige jacket and a hat. She also has a lip piercing.
