A 31-year-old man was shot and killed inside an Elmhurst bodega Thursday night.
Police from the 110th Precinct, responding to a 911 call just after 8 p.m., found the victim inside the Cinco de Mayo Food Market, located at 81-06 Roosevelt Ave. He was unconscious and unresponsive with multiple gunshots to the chest, police said.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to Elmhurst Hospital where he was pronounced deceased, according to the NYPD.
No arrests have been made and the investigation was ongoing. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
