Knife-wielding duo wanted for robbing three teens in two hours on the streets of Jamaica

Police are looking for two quick-moving crooks who robbed three teenagers at knifepoint in less than two hours in Jamaica last week.

According to police, at 3:20 p.m. on April 27, an 18-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of 85th Avenue and 161st Street when he was approached by two unknown men. One of the perpetrators displayed a knife and forcibly removed the victim’s cellphone.

The suspects then fled the scene on foot, authorities. There were no injuries as a result of the incident.

At 5 p.m. that same day, law enforcement sources said, two boys, aged 15 and 14 years old, were walking in the vicinity of 86th Avenue and 148th Street when they were approached by the suspects. One suspect showed a knife and demanded the victim’s property.

The crooks took the victims’ cellphones and $65 in cash before fleeing the scene on foot. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.

The first thief, described by police as a Hispanic man, was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and camouflage pants with dark boots. The second suspect, described by police as a black man, was last seen wearing all dark clothing and white sneakers.
