Kick off your summer at one of 9 outdoor movie screenings in Queens

“Coco,” “Grease” and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” are among films slated to screen under the stars at parks around Queens to kick off summer 2018.

Catch these outdoor screenings in the months of May and June, courtesy of the NYC Parks Department:

Friday, May 25 — “Coco,” 2017, rated PG. At Elmhurst‘s Frank D. O’Connor Playground, Woodside Avenue and Broadway, 8 p.m.

Saturday, May 26 — “Finding Dory,” 2016, PG. At Jackson Heights‘ Gorman Playground, 85th Street and 30th Avenue, 8 p.m.

Sunday, May 27 — “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie,” 2017, PG. At Rego Park‘s Painter’s Playground, Alderton Street between Dieterle and Ellwell Crescents, 8 p.m.

Saturday, June 9 — “The Wizard of Oz,” 1939. At Long Island City‘s Hunters Point South Park, Center Boulevard, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, June 15 — “Moonstruck,” 1987, PG. At Long Island City‘s Hunters Point South Park, Center Boulevard, 7:30 p.m. / “Grease,” 1978. At Astoria Park, 19th Street and Hoyt Avenue North, 8:30 p.m.

Sunday, June 17 — “Zootopia,” 2016, PG. At Flushing‘s Lewis H. Latimer House (indoors), 34-41 137th St., 3 p.m. Register here.

Thursday, June 21 — “School of Rock,” 2003, PG-13. At Astoria Park Lawn, Shore Boulevard between the Hell Gate Bridge and the pool, 8:30 p.m.

Thursday, June 28 — “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” 2017, PG-13. At Rockaway’s Beach 17th Street and Seagirt Boulevard, 8 p.m.

The Parks Department suggests that attendees arrive early to secure a spot and bring a blanket or low chair. Times, dates and films are subject to change.
