Police are looking for the person who shot a man to death in Jamaica early on Monday morning.

At 3:31 a.m. on June 11, police responded to a 911 call regarding a person shot near the intersection of Liberty Avenue and Liverpool Street.

Upon their arrival, officers found 59-year-old Errol Blackwood in the driver’s seat of a 2017 silver Volvo sedan, unconscious and unresponsive, with gun shot wounds throughout his body.

Authorities say that the victim was involved in a dispute outside the nearby Jouvay nightclub when he was shot multiple times. WABC-TV reported that the victim managed to make it back to his car and tried to drive himself to the hospital.

EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
