A man was struck and killed by a train after jumping onto the tracks at the 33rd St – Rawson St Station over the weekend, according to police.
The victim, a 48-year-old man, jumped in front of an approaching Main Street-bound 7 train at the station just before 6:20 a.m. on Sunday, police said.
Responding personnel pronounced the man dead on the scene, and his body was transferred to a morgue, according to police.
The victim’s identity has not been released, and is pending family notification.
