Police are looking for a man who is said to be connected to eight armed robberies in Bayside, Hollis and Queens Village dating back to May.
Most of the robberies occurred between 10 p.m. and 1:30 a.m., with an exception on the last incident which took place at 1:25 p.m. Each time, authorities said, the suspect approached a food delivery worker, displayed a knife and forcibly removed the victim’s property.
The robberies, as the NYPD reported, are as follows:
- At 10 p.m. on May 25, an unidentified male individual forcibly removed an undetermined amount of money from a 62-year-old man outside of a private residence in the vicinity of 209th Street and 43rd Avenue. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
- At 10:40 p.m. on May 31, the thief forcibly removed $30 from a 34-year-old man in front of a private residence located in the vicinity of Bellaire Place and 104th Avenue. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
- At 10:38 p.m. on June 3, the suspect approached a 44-year-old man outside of a private residence in the vicinity of 205th Street and 100th Avenue and forcibly removed $100 from the victim. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
- At 1:30 a.m. on June 7, the suspect displayed a black firearm and a knife to a 34-year-old man outside of a private residence in the vicinity of Bellaire Place and 104th Avenue and proceeded to take $200 from the victim. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
- At 10:34 p.m. on June 9, the crook slashed a 52-year-old man in the arm and leg before forcibly removing $50 outside of a private residence in the vicinity of 209th Street and Murdock Avenue. EMS responded to the scene and took the victim to Manhasset Hospital, where he was treated and released.
- At 11:15 p.m. on June 9, the suspect forcibly removed $300 from a 45-year-old man outside of a private residence in the vicinity of 205th Street and 100th Avenue. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
- At 11:10 p.m. on June 13, the thief approached a 46-year-old man outside of a private residence in the vicinity of 100th Avenue and 208th Street and demanded money. When the victim refused, the suspect stabbed him in the leg and ran off. EMS responded to the scene and took the victim to Manhasset Hospital, where he was treated and released.
- At 1:25 p.m. on June 17, a 42-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of 209th Street and 104th Avenue when the suspect forcibly removed his cellphone and $60. The suspect fled the scene in a white Jeep Compass.
Cops described the suspect as a black man between 15 and 18 years of age with a light complexion and a close cut dark hair, standing 6 feet tall, and weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing black shorts, red sneakers and a gray t-shirt.
