Cops need your help in finding the bandit who robbed a bank in Maspeth on Friday afternoon.
Police said the perpetrator walked into the Valley National Bank at 64-01 Grand Ave. at 2:35 p.m. on Aug. 17, approached a teller and handed over a demand note.
Seconds later, the suspect received $800 in cash from the employee, then exited the bank and headed westbound on Grand Avenue.
Officers from the 104th Precinct responded to the incident; there were no injuries.
Later on Friday night, police obtained and released an image of the crook taken from a security camera inside the bank. Cops described the suspect as a white man between 25 and 30 years of age with a thin build, standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He was last observed wearing a gray baseball cap, sunglasses and a light-colored polo shirt.
