Three suspects wanted in connection with Flushing robbery: NYPD

The NYPD was searching for three male suspects in connection with a robbery at a spa on Northern Boulevard in Flushing last week.

According to the NYPD, on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 1:50 a.m., inside the Hawaii Relax Spa — located at 149-50 Northern Blvd. — a 32-year-old man was approached by three unknown individuals in the basement stairwell demanding money.

One individual displayed a butcher knife while the other two individuals forcibly removed the victim’s wallet, containing $100 cash, and his backpack, containing a Mac Book Air laptop, Beats headphones, and a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus cell phone, before fleeing westbound on Northern Boulevard, police said.

There were no injuries reported, police said.

Police described the three suspects as Hispanic males between the ages of 16 and 19.

One suspect was described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, 160 pounds, with a light complexion, a mustache, a goatee and close-cut dark hair who was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and an earring in his left ear.

Police described a second suspect as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, 160 pounds, with a light complexion and short, curly dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black Nike jogging jacket, light colored jeans and white sneakers.

A third suspect was described as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, 160 pounds, with a medium complexion and a long, black afro. He was last seen wearing a earring in his left ear, a red Nike Air hooded sweatshirt, black shorts and black sneakers.
