AgeWell New York will no longer offer the Fully Integrated Duals Advantage (FIDA) Program to members beginning on Jan. 1, 2019. Members currently enrolled in the AgeWell New York FIDA Plan will be receiving advance written notice of this change, and will be advised of the requirement to pick a new plan. In the event that an alternate choice is not made, the person will be enrolled into a new FIDA plan by New York Department of Health, effective Jan. 1, 2019.
AgeWell New York is a managed care plan that offers Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plans, and Managed Long Term Care Plans. The plan serves communities in the New York Metropolitan area, including Westchester, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Nassau, and Suffolk counties.
