Police arrested a woman who pulled a box cutter on a store employee in Glendale and took off with cold medicine.

According to the criminal complaint that the Queens District Attorney’s office provided, at 5:10 a.m. on Sept. 29, Brooklyn resident Pamela Barrow, 47, entered the convenience store located at 71-05 Myrtle Ave. While inside, an employee allegedly saw Barrow putting store merchandise under a towel in her bag.

When the employee approached Barrow and confronted her, authorities said, Barrow allegedly pulled out a box cutter and pointed it at the employee. Barrow then fled the scene with a bottle of Dayquil.

Officers from the 104th Precinct responded to reports of the robbery, and found Barrow shortly thereafter just four blocks away from the store.

Officers recovered a bottle of Dayquil wrapped in a towel from her bag as well as a box cutter from her pants pocket.

Barrow was then arrested and charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property. She’s currently being held on $15,000 bail and is due back in Queens Criminal Court on Oct. 12, according to court records.
