Rapper Cardi B. turned herself in to authorities Monday morning after an August brawl at a Flushing strip club.
The Bronx native, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, surrendered to police at 109th Precinct after an incident at Angels Strip Club — located at 32-17 College Point Blvd. — Aug. 29 involving two bartenders, police said.
According to police, Almánzar was charged with two misdemeanors, assault and reckless endangerment.
According to TMZ, Almánzar was at the strip club to watch her husband’s rap group, Migos, perform. After someone threw a drink, Almánzar allegedly ordered an attack on bartenders Jade and Baddie G., who are sisters. Both women said Almánzar believed Jade slept with her husband, rapper Offset, who is a part of the rap group.
TMZ reported that Almánzar had her entourage attack both women with bottles, chairs, and a hookah smoking device. Both women were hurt but refused medical attention.
This isn’t Almánzar’s first dust up this year.
Less than a month ago, she was escorted from a New York Fashion Week party with a huge lump over her eye following a scuffle with rapper Nicki Minaj, who grew up in Queens.
Almánzar, who is a new mother to daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, took to Instagram and suggested she was angry because her mothering skills had been questioned ahead of the scuffle.
Reports indicated that Almánzar will not be arrested and will likely be ordered to appear in court at a later date.
