Thalia Spanish Theatre, located at 47-11 Greenpoint Ave., is hosting the dragQUEENS show on Friday, Oct. 12., as part of a 12-performance run that ends on Sunday, Nov. 4
The show features performers in brightly colored outfits, high heels and sparkly sequins. The show will include high-energy singing and dancing by the borough’s leading Latin LGBTQ artists, actors and female impersonators.
The two main thespians are transgender. Danna Sultana is a native of Colombia’s Medellín who was the queen of Miss Gay International in 2005. She’s known for her dancing, lip-syncing, and imitations of pop stars such as Britney Spears, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga.

Sultana shares prime stage time with Barbie Crawford, a model and singer from the Dominican Republic.
The rest of the cast includes Jei Osorio, a countertenor who played the Bearded Lady in a production that traveled through Latin America, and drag dancers Harold Puente and Darylin La Fontaine. Other dancers are Gabriel Molina, Heber Romero, and Brajan Llamoza.
William Saquicela, an actor/director who hails from Ecuador, is the master of ceremonies.
Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. Tickets are $45 in advance, but $48 at the door.
