Man shoots victim in the leg following an argument on a Jamaica street: cops

Cops are looking for the gunman who opened fire on and injured a man during a dispute on the streets of Jamaica last month.

According to police, at 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 10, a 29-year-old man was at the intersection of Archer Avenue and Parsons Boulevard when he got into an argument with the suspect. The altercation turned violent, authorities said, when the perpetrator pulled out a gun and shot the man in the right leg.

Following the gunfire, the suspect fled in an unknown direction.

Officers from the 103rd Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. Paramedics brought the victim to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.

On Nov. 7, the NYPD released video of the gunman, who is described as a black man in his late 20s who was last seen wearing all dark clothing.
