Two individuals are now in custody following the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy outside of an Elmhurst school on Thursday morning.

Authorities said the victim was knifed in the chest just before noon on Nov. 8 across the street from the Civic Leadership Academy, located at 45-10 94th St.

Officers from the 110th Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. Paramedics rushed the teenager to Elmhurst Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police recovered a knife at the scene after the attack. Two people, including another 17-year-old boy, were taken into custody a short time later.

At this time, the motive for the attack remains unknown. Law enforcement sources did not disclose whether the suspects attended the school.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
