Evening Cocktail & Craft — Come plant your own terrarium at the Queens Botanical Garden. Adults 21 and older can enjoy drinks while creating their own plant and tiny decor landscape at this Evening Cocktail & Craft. Registration is required; drop-ins are allowed upon availability.

Bayside Stories – Then and Now! — Join the Bayside Historical Society in looking through old photos and sharing stories.
When: Thursday, Nov. 15, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Free Dance Class — Learn the basics of Sabar, a traditional dance performed to the Sabar drum of Senegal.

National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Masters — Do you like jazz? Come hear five National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Masters play at Flushing Town Hall. These men have the nation’s highest honor for living jazz musicians, and they have never played all together on one stage.
When: Friday, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m.
Where: Flushing Town Hall, 137-35 Northern Blvd., Flushing
Cost: $42; $32 for members; $20 for students; free for teens

Silent Clubbing — Do you love the 80s and 90s? Come to a silent clubbing event with 80s and 90s music and costumes at Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden.
When: Friday, Nov. 16, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Tote Bag Decorations — Decorate a tote bag at this fun workshop. Designer Phyllis Ger will show you how to design a bag for yourself or to give as a gift.

“Between Neighborhoods” — Come see a new short film about Queens. “Between Neighborhoods” is a documentary that centers on the Unisphere and includes original and archival footage on a split screen.
When: Saturday, Nov. 17, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Queens Historical Society, 143-35 37th Ave., Flushing.
Cost: $5; $3 for students and seniors; free for members

Make Your Own Holiday Centerpiece — Learn tips and tricks and take home your own creation. Tickets include all supplies. This event is for adults and children ages 10 and up. Registration is required. This event is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 43-50 Main St., Flushing.

“Burn the Stage: The Movie” — Burn the Stage is a Korean boy band that completed its Wings Tour in 2017. The tour covered over 10 countries and entertained 550,000 fans. The movie gives an inside look at BTS’ rise to fame and their most recent tour. The movie is showing at all Showcase Cinema locations.

Mystic India: A Bollywood Dance Spectacular — Learn about India’s transition from ancient to modern at Mystic India: A Bollywood Dance Spectacular. This show features traditional and modern Indian dances.

Capoeira — Want to learn martial arts? Come to a free Capoeira class at the RIOULT Dance Center. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines dance, culture, music, sport and history.

Haitian Dance Class — Come to a free Haitian dance class at the Djoniba Centre. Learn spatial awareness and body control through this traditional dance.

GingerBread Lane — Head to the New York Hall of Science to check out GingerBread Lane, a yearly holiday exhibit consisting entirely of gingerbread buildings drafted, designed, baked, built and decorated by chef Jon Lovitch. Lovitch will once again try to beat his own Guinness World Record for largest gingerbread village. Come see the completely edible GingerBread Lane, included with general admission to the New York Hall of Science.
