Aldo’s Pizza, an Italian pizzeria and restaurant in Ozone Park, will celebrate its first year under new management on New Year’s Eve, according to Manager Santino Livreri.

The restaurant was originally established in 1964, but changed hands in January 2018, according to Livreri who is the cousin of new owners Anthony Livreri and Joe Livreri who reside in Middle Village and Howard Beach.

“We serve all kinds of Italian food,” said Livreri. “We mostly do Sicilian style because the owners are originally from Sicily.”

The Italian restaurant located at 137-01 Cross Bay Blvd. makes heroes, pasta, fish dishes, soups, paninis, meat dishes, veal dishes, seafood, salads, desserts and more, according to their menu.

“We do Italian gelato and Italian ices specially imported from Italy,” said Livreri. “We do chocolate mousse, Italian ricotta cheesecake, New York cheesecake, truffles, cream puffs and two different kinds of cannolis.”

The pizzeria also has several types of pizza with toppings like buffalo chicken, fresh mozzarella, penne vodka, Thai chicken, Caesar salad, and they also have gluten free slices, according to Livreri.

“We do almost 50 kinds of pizza every day in our restaurant,” said Livreri.

Aldo’s does more than make pizza and it also serves its customers in other ways.

“We do parties and have a party room, we do takeout and we do catering,” said Livreri. “We also have a full bar.”
