Police are looking for a bandit who breached secured lockers at a neighborhood gym three times in two days this month, stealing the victims’ wallets and cash.
Authorities said all of the thefts took place during daytime hours on Jan. 3 and 4 inside of the Planet Fitness located at 329 Wyckoff Ave., on the Ridgewood/Bushwick border.
In the Jan. 3 incident, law enforcement sources noted, the suspect broke into a 46-year-old man’s locker at about noon and removed a wallet and cash valued at $900.
Cops said the bandit returned to the gym twice more on Jan. 4, burglarizing a 35-year-old man’s locker at 12:15 p.m. to steal a wallet and cash valued at $700; and then broke into a 36-year-old man’s locker at 4:30 p.m., stealing a wallet and cash valued at $200.
All of the incidents were reported to the 104th Precinct.
On Jan. 19, the NYPD released images of the locker room thief; he’s described as a white man in his late teens or early 20s who was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
