Police looking for gunman who entered Long Island City apartment house and opened fire

Cops are asking the public for help in locating a man who allegedly opened fire inside an apartment building at the Queensbridge Houses in Long Island City last week.

According to police, at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 15, a man was seen entering an apartment building located at 41-02 12th St. while firing a gun. While exiting the building, police said, the perp was seen with a firearm in hand.

Officers from the 114th Precinct responded to the incident and found that nobody had been injured.

As part of an ongoing investigation, police identified an individual wanted for questioning in the case; he’s identified as 26-year-old Jonathan Faison and is wanted for questioning in regards to reckless endangerment. Police sources indicated that the motive for the gunfire is not yet known.
