Police are looking for a duo who robbed a man at knifepoint while riding the subway in Astoria last month.
According to police, at 1:10 a.m. on Dec. 20, 2018, a 23-year-old man boarded a southbound F train at the Parsons Boulevard station. At 1:30 a.m., two men wearing ski masks boarded the train and sat beside the victim.
The first suspect told the victim that he needed money, however the victim stated that he didn’t have any money and showed the men his wallet. The second suspect took the victim’s wallet, pulled out a box cutter and held it to the victim’s face, telling him not to move or he’ll lose an eye.
The second suspect took the victim’s iPhone and the first suspect took the headphones that were connected to the phone. The suspects fled the scene at the 46th Street subway station.
