Suspect wanted for Sunnyside Pharmacy Shooting (NYPD)

Police have arrested the man wanted for shooting a worker at a Skillman Avenue drug store last month.
Gianne Peralta, 36, from New Jersey, was arrested on May 15 and charged with attempted robbery in the first degree and two counts of assault, according to police.
Police received a tip that Peralta was the perpetrator and then made an arrest at the 108 Precinct after questioning him, according to sources.
Peralta allegedly walked into Sunnyside Pharmacy, located at 48-11 Skillman Ave., at around 1:55 p.m. on April 18 and pulled out a firearm and demanded money.
He then shot a worker in the shoulder before fleeing the store empty handed.
