Cops seek man who snatched woman’s necklace in Briarwood

The NYPD is looking for a man who snatched a necklace off of a woman’s neck in Briarwood last month.

On Monday, Aug. 10, around 10:33 a.m., a 48-year-old woman was pushing a stroller along the sidewalk in front of 86-37 143rd St., according to police.

An unidentified man approached her and ripped off her necklace and a medallion, worth around $100, police said. The man then ran off in an unknown direction, cops said.

Police released video of the robbery as part of their investigation.

 

No arrests have been made an the investigation is ongoing.
