Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing are looking for a man who broke into an electronics store on College Point Boulevard near Pople Avenue on Saturday, Jan. 15.

Just before 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18, a 60-year-old man who worked at the store discovered that property was missing and called the police. A subsequent investigation determined that during the evening of Jan. 15, a man broke into the secured front entrance of the store and entered the location.

Once inside, the suspect removed cash and electronics and fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said. Investigators said the estimated value of the property removed from the shop was $2,800.

The NYPD released an image of the suspect taken at the location. The man is believed to be 20 to 30 years of age, and he was last seen wearing a wool cap, a jacket with stripes down its arms and blue jeans.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of the suspects is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782).
