United States Postal Service announces 100 job openings in Jamaica

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is seeking to fill approximately 100 city carrier assistant positions in Jamaica. Starting July, post offices throughout the area will be hosting job fairs. 

Applicants can get a jumpstart on the process by visiting the USPS website and entering the keywords “Jamaica” or “Flushing” in the search function, then hit the “start” button. Delivery jobs will be listed as “city carrier assistant.”

The starting pay for a city carrier assistant is $18.92 per hour. Pay is bi-weekly.
