The Astoria community celebrated a beloved patriotic tradition last Wednesday.
On June 29, the Central Astoria Local Development Coalition (CALDC) hosted its annual Fourth of July community event and fireworks display at Astoria Park. Hundreds of spectators came to witness the spectacular pyrotechnic display and enjoy a live performance by Long Island’s own Swingtime Big Band.
Check out photos from the event.
