Queens police precincts hosting National Night Out Against Crime events in their communities

On Tuesday, Aug. 2, police precincts throughout New York City will be hosting the annual National Night Out Against Crime events.

National Night Out aims to strengthen the relationship between the community and law enforcement, in order to make neighborhoods better places to live.

Police precincts across Queens will have activities such as a barbeque, bouncy houses and face painting. Refreshments and food will also be provided. All events will also offer crime prevention information.

100th Precinct (Rockaway Beach) 

Location: Beach 94th Street Parking Lot, Beach 94th Street and Rockaway Beach Boulevard

Time: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Join the 100th precinct for a fun night with a DJ, food, rides, raffles, demos, and performances.

101st Precinct (Far Rockaway) 

Location: O’Donohue Park, Beach 17th Street and Boardwalk

Time: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Enjoy carnival rides, entertainment, food, a talent show, raffles, and a sports tournament.

102nd Precinct (Forest Park) 

Location: Forest Park, Woodhaven Boulevard and Forest Park Drive

Time: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

There will be giveaways, refreshments, and kids activities.

103rd Precinct (Jamaica)

Location: Rufus King Park, 89th Avenue and 150th Street

Time: 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Activities include karate demonstrations, bouncy house, vendors, DJ, face painting, barbeque, refreshments.

104th Precinct (Middle Village)

Location: Juniper Valley Park, 80th Street entrance, between Juniper Blvd North to Juniper Blvd South

Time: 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Come for dance classes, giveaways, rides, a concert, refreshments, and health screenings.

105th Precinct (Cambria Heights)

Location:Cabbell Park, 121st Avenue and Francis Lewis Boulevard

Time: 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Pop over for free food, music, and family fun.

106th Precinct (South Ozone Park) 

Location:Frederick B. Judge Playground, 111-01 134th Street, S. Ozone Park

Time: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Giveaways, games, refreshments will be available for everyone.

107th Precinct (Pomonok) 

Location: Electchester Shopping Center, 70-63 Parsons Boulevard

Time: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

The 107th Precinct will have face painting, carnival games, refreshments, a DJ, and a blood drive.

108th Precinct (Woodside) 

Location: Andrew Grove Playground, 49th Avenue and Vernon Boulevard

Time: 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Celebrate with a bouncy castle, games, refreshments, giveaways, pony rides, face painting, and a DJ.

109th Precinct (Flushing) 

Location: Bowne Playground, Barclay Avenue and Union Street

Time: 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

There will be games, food, face painting, entertainment, crime prevention and domestic violence information.

110th Precinct (Corona)

Location:Flushing Meadow Park, 111th Street between 54th & 55th Avenue, next to the Fantasy Forest Carousel

Time: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Relax with activities for children, rides, a bouncy house, barbeque, DJ, raffles and giveaways.

111th Precinct (Douglaston)

Location: Douglaston Shopping Center, 242-02 61st Avenue and Douglaston Parkway

Time:5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Festivities will include a bouncy castle, hot dogs, beverages, a DJ, clowns, and giveaways.

112th Precinct (Forest Hills)

Location: MacDonald Park, In Front of 106-06 Queens Boulevard, Forest Hills

Time:5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Enjoy children’s crafts, a DJ, performances, and tennis club exercises.

113th Precinct (South Jamaica)

Location: North Rochdale Playground, Baisley Boulevard and Bedell Street

Time: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

This celebration features a dance contest, Black Cowboys, raffles, board games, and refreshments.

114th Precinct (Astoria)

Location: Astoria Park, Great Lawn, 19th Street and Hoyt Avenue

Time: 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Meet the police of the 114th Precinct and have fun with pony rides, a dunk tank, face painting, clowns, and refreshments.

115th Precinct (Jackson Heights) 

Location: Northern Playground, Northern Boulevard and 93rd Street

Time: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

The 115th Precinct will begin and end earlier than other precincts, and will have music, food, face painting, and bouncy rides.
