Police from the 114th Precinct in Astoria are on the lookout for three men who attacked an e-bike rider outside a bodega on Tuesday night, July 26.

The 23-year-old man had just come out of the Mi Esquinita convenience store located at 30-36 14th St., at around 9:30 p.m., when he was jumped by three assailants, police said.

Video surveillance footage captured the attack that showed one of the suspects as he pulled the victim off his e-bike and forced him to the sidewalk as a second man bashed him in the skull with an unknown object. The third suspect then smashed a bottle over the victim’s head. The first two assailants jumped on the e-bike and took off southbound on 14th Street. The third suspect fled on foot westbound on 30th Road, police said.

The victim sustained lacerations to his head and was treated at Mount Sinai Queens.

The NYPD released the video on July 28, along with photos of each of the suspects.

The first suspect is described as in his late teens to early 20s, with a medium complexion and a thin build, who was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with a shirt wrapped around his neck, a white facemask, a white T-shirt, gray pants, tan boots and a black drawstring bag.
