27-year-old dies from injuries months after motorcycle crash in Ridgewood

Adrian Rodriguez, a motorcycle driver involved in a crash in late July, succumbed to his injuries on Monday, Sept. 19, according to police.

On Sunday, July 31, at approximately 10:45 p.m., police responded to a call regarding a vehicle collision at Himrod Street and Tonsor Street in Ridgewood.

NYPD from the 104th Precinct determined that a 27-year-old male was driving a 2020 Nissan Altima eastbound on Tonsor Street At Himrod Street. At the same time, Rodriguez, 27, was driving a 2020 Honda NC750X motorcycle southbound on Himrod Street when the motorcycle hit the driver’s side of the Nissan. Rodriguez was ejected and thrown to the pavement.

EMS responded and transported the aided motorcyclist to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition with trauma to the head, according to NYPD. The Nissan driver remained on the scene, uninjured.
